
EAGLE PASS, Texas — In a major step forward for the city’s economic and industrial expansion, Pilot Travel Centers, LLC has officially acquired 10 acres of land within EMPIRE Industrial Park for the development of a full-service travel center and truck stop. The project, set to break ground in March 2025 and open by fall 2025, will serve the increasing number of truck drivers, travelers, and businesses moving goods between the United States and Mexico.
The land sale, negotiated by Lee & Associates - Houston, saw Empire Industrial Park, LLC represented by Enrique Volkmer, while P.W. Ellis represented Pilot Travel Centers, LLC. The travel center will be strategically located at 4392 El Indio Highway, enhancing the city’s designated truck route and supporting its growing role in international commerce.
A Strategic Investment in Eagle Pass
Pilot Travel Centers, the largest operator of travel centers in North America, operates nearly 900 locations and serves over 1.2 million drivers daily. Recognizing Eagle Pass’s emergence as a key trade corridor, the company sees this project as a catalyst for regional growth.
