Eagle Pass, Texas - A new bar is expected to open it's doors very soon in downtown Eagle Pass.
The Menchaca brothers are in the last stages of completion of the remodeling, adjustments, obtaining license and permits in order to open the new establishment.
The brothers are no newcomers in the food & beverage industry, they currently own the 1800 Bar located in S Texas and the Rancho Steak Grill restaurant in Eagle Pass and have previously operated other restaurants-bars.
South Bound's old spot might bring memories, flashbacks to many. According to one of the brothers, the newly remodeled "Fat Lizard Pub" is expected to open to the public by the end of June or early July.
Fat Lizard will offer Pizza and a large variety of mixed drinks and beer, and is expected to have live music from time to time in the patio.

Eagle Pass, Texas - Se espera que un nuevo bar abra sus puertas muy pronto en el centro de la ciudad de Eagle Pass. Los hermanos Menchaca se encuentran en las últimas etapas de la remodelación, ajustes, obtención de licencias y permisos para abrir el nuevo establecimiento.
Los hermanos no son nuevos en el negocio, son dueños del bar 1800 ubicado en S Texas y del restaurante Rancho Steak Grill en Eagle Pass y han operado anteriormente otros bares y restaurantes. El antiguo lugar de South Bound puede traer recuerdos, para muchos. Según uno de los hermanos, se espera que "Fat Lizard Pub" esté abierto al público a finales de junio o principios de julio. Fat Lizard ofrecerá pizza y una gran variedad de bebidas mixtas y cerveza, se espera que tenga música en vivo de vez en cuando en el patio.
