Eagle Pass, TX - Mayor Rolando Salinas on Thursday announced the soon arrival of Home 2 Suites by Hilton to Eagle Pass.
The Mayor announced that the property will be a 115-room, 17,000 square foot state-of-the-art hotel. An estimated 25 new jobs will be created by the new venue. It will be located inside city limits in the corner of Highway 277 and Bob Rogers with a conference room and a pool.
"We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Patel for their continued trust and investment in Eagle Pass," Mayor Salinas announced. "This $13 million dollar investment will produce 25 jobs and provide a much needed service in our community."
Salinas thanked City Council and Commissioners Court for working together and providing the incentives to get this done
Present in the ceremony were the Patel family, State Representative Heriberto Eddie Morales, County Judge David Saucedo, Mayor Rolando Salinas, School Board President Jorge Barrera, among other local officials.

Eagle Pass, TX - El alcalde Rolando Salinas anunció el jueves la próxima llegada de Home 2 Suites by Hilton a Eagle Pass.
El alcalde anunció que la propiedad será un hotel de última generación de 115 habitaciones y 17,000 pies cuadrados. Se estima que la nueva sede creará unos 25 nuevos puestos de trabajo. Estará ubicado dentro de los límites de la ciudad en la esquina de la autopista 277 y Bob Rogers con una sala de conferencias y una piscina.
"Estamos agradecidos con el Sr. y la Sra. Patel por su continua confianza e inversión en Eagle Pass", anunció el alcalde Salinas. "Esta inversión de $13 millones de dólares producirá 25 puestos de trabajo y brindará un servicio muy necesario en nuestra comunidad".
Salinas agradeció al Concejo Municipal y al Tribunal de Comisionados por trabajar juntos y proporcionar los incentivos para lograrlo.
