Dead body with 'marks of violence' found floating in the Rio Grande

Eagle Pass, Texas - Customs and Border Protection patrol agents located a dead body floating in the Rio Grande around noon time on Tuesday.

The agents managed to remove the body of a man from the river, which at this time has yet not been identified.

According to sources, the victim showed noticeable marks of violence in multiple parts of the body, specifically in the back.

Local and federal authorities are undergoing an investigation to the incident in order to determine the cause of death and the person's identity.
