Carrizo Springs, TX - A fatal accident involving a tractor trailer and several vehicles was registered on Wednesday afternoon on the highway near Carrizo Springs, TX.

According to sources, one of the individuals traveling in a pickup truck possibly the driver unfortunately passed away at the scene.

Witnesses report that at least two other persons pertained severe injuries from the deadly accident.

The accident took place on highway 83, which was closed for vehicular traffic for a significant amount of time.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigation the cause of the accident.
