Kingsville, TX - A group of migrants reportedly being transported from Del Rio to Brownsville on Monday afternoon abruptly overtook a Border Patrol bus and fought agents to get off the vehicle.
The incident took place at around 4pm near Kingsville while traveling on Highway 77. Kleberg County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to BP's call for assistance during the altercation.
KCSO reports that some federal agents resulted injured during the incident. "Well I believe in an attempt to abscond into the brush or leave the area these individuals were able to assault federal agents on the bus in an attempt to escape," Sheriff Kirkpatrick said. "I think it was at that point where the driver was able to pull over, that’s when they were able to get and force the door open and abscond off the bus.”
Following a chase, authorities detained the migrants who were soon after transferred into another bus.

Kingsville, TX - Según los informes, un grupo de migrantes que fueron transportados desde Del Rio a Brownsville el lunes por la tarde alcanzó abruptamente un autobús de la Patrulla Fronteriza y luchó contra los agentes para bajar del vehículo.
El incidente tuvo lugar alrededor de las 4 pm cerca de Kingsville mientras viajaba por la autopista 77.
Los agentes de la oficina del alguacil del condado de Kleberg respondieron al pedido de asistencia de BP durante el altercado.
KCSO informa que algunos agentes federales resultaron heridos durante el incidente. "Bueno, creo que en un intento de escapar entre la maleza o salir del área, estos individuos pudieron asaltar a los agentes federales en el autobús en un intento de escapar", dijo el alguacil Kirkpatrick. "Creo que fue en ese punto en el que el conductor pudo detenerse, fue entonces cuando pudieron llegar y forzar la puerta para abrirla y huir del autobús".
Tras una persecución, las autoridades detuvieron a los migrantes que poco después fueron trasladados a otro autobús.
